When do you need to see the site?
Ideally during framing when we can verify blocking placement. We provide blocking specifications to your framing crew if we can't be there. Final measurement happens after waterproofing and deck surfaces are complete.
What mounting system do you recommend?
Base shoe (channel) systems provide the cleanest look and are best for most applications. Standoff systems work well for retrofit projects. We'll recommend the best option based on your substrate and aesthetic goals.
How do you handle oceanfront installations?
We exclusively use AISI 316 marine-grade stainless steel for coastal properties. This alloy is highly resistant to salt air corrosion. We also recommend our Starphire low-iron glass for maximum clarity on view properties.
What about building code requirements?
All our systems meet or exceed IBC/CBC requirements for 200 lb concentrated load at the top rail. We provide engineering documentation for your permit package and ensure everything passes inspection.
